We are currently looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join our winning team. If you like a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects, as well as doing daily repairs and upkeep of machinery to keep it running for a production environment.
Schedule is 4 days a week: Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm (15h30) to 1:45 am (1h45)
- Troubleshoot emergency breakdowns as necessary
- Preventative maintenance, fixing breakdowns and/or replacing parts on many different production machines such as: rollers, dimple punches, riveters, benders, brakes, presses, punches, and other machinery
- Fabrication by drilling, milling, lathing, welding, operating many power tools as required to fix machines or build new parts
- Work with different systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, vacuums, clutches, some electrical, and more
- Assist on new projects or improvement plans for older machines
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Inspect and monitoring machinery and equipment for pinch points and safety hazards; installing safety devices as required

- Licensed millwright or comparable experience
- Safety first mindset
- Solve and use critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Follow oral and written directions
- Flexible and adaptable to go from one job to that other when required by emergency breakdowns, etc.
- Function well in a team environment and able to communicate clearly with others
- Possesses good computer skills
- Have a proactive/preventive approach
- Work with minimal supervision
