Industrial Mechanic - Forklift Repair, Facility Maintenance

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced candidate responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and support the facility and facility equipment. The right candidate will diagnose problems and replace or repair equipment followed by testing to maintain adjustments. Maintain spare parts inventory. Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics in order to perform required maintenance an service. Previous experience with Bandsaw and Forklift machine related equipment repairs is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide preventative maintenance and repairs on company machinery and forklifts

- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment

- Work unassisted and unsupervised to job completion in a timely and proficient manner

- Overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts

- Perform all general preventative maintenance duties such as greasing, oiling etc.

- Monitor building and grounds to ensure neat, clean presentation, performing general cleaning and maintenance activities for the building, grounds, equipment and fixtures

- Perform repairs for electrical, plumbing, painting tasks and other facility tasks as needed

- Maintain inventory for parts and tools

- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

- Experience with band saw machinery

- Experience with Forklift/Combilift troubleshooting

- Ability to troubleshoot and provide sense of urgency when equipment is down

- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and manuals

- Welding experience a plus

- Basic math and computer skills

- Valid AZ Driver License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
