Industrial Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including grinding, blasting, HVAC/R systems, and hydraulic machinery.

- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, manage inventory, and document maintenance activities.

- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including low voltage components.

- Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.

- Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics and analysis.

- Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, to repair or fabricate parts as needed.

- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.

- Provide technical support for customer service inquiries related to equipment performance or repairs.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.

- Familiarity with machining systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems is essential.

- Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement solutions promptly.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
