Industrial Maintenance Technician (Preventative Maintenance)

We are looking for an energetic, smart, entry level Maintenance Technician who is process oriented. You will gain product, industry, and process knowledge, through a combination of direct mentoring by an experienced technician and hands-on experience. The right candidate will maintain production and quality by ensuring operations of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Day Shift is Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Good mechanical, computer and math skills needed.

· Candidate must be willing and able to work with chemicals.

· Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

· Ability to Multi-task and work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES:

· Conduct routine Preventative Maintenance and Inspection Tasks

· Tend to equipment breakdowns and repairs

· Maintain inventory and track component usage and cost

· Maintain accurate records of equipment, purchases, and work performed

· Follow and enforce OSHA, NEC, FEC, and Hazardous Waste codes

· Follow and implement LOTO when working on equipment

· 5S of the maintenance shop and assigned areas, including post repair cleanup

· Support Engineering Projects and Equipment Installations

· Continuous Improvement

· Other duties as assigned

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES:

· Develop and Implement training and work instructions for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Machine Operating Procedures

· Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) expansion and refinement
