Who We Are Looking For
Motivated, hard-working, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic in our production facility located in Hazelwood, MO. This position rotates 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Nights) rotating schedule with 36 hrs. one week and 48 the following week.
Responsibilities
•Follow and comply with all safety, work, and employment policies and procedures
•Troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support for production lines.
•Supporting change-overs and die cleaning
•Supporting facilities maintenance (troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks)
•Set-up, start-up, and operate pultrusion machines
•Timely and thorough completion of daily, monthly, annual PM requirements
•Support equipment fabrication (Metal fab, Mig welding)
•Assist with shift leadership responsibilities
Requirements
•Ability to follow and comply with all safety, work, and employment policies and procedures
•Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
•Must be able to wear all required personal protective gear
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; up to 12 hours
•Must be able to work overtime as required
•Must be able to lift 25+ pounds overhead
•Must be able to lift, turn, bend, reach, pull, and walk
•Must be able to read, write, and understand English
•Experience operating mill and lathe
•Ability to read schematics and blueprints
•Troubleshoot and repair 480, 240, 120 volt control power
•Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
•Troubleshoot and repair chiller and compressed air systems
•High School diploma or equivalent
Preferences
•Experience of 1 year or more in a manufacturing or factory environment
•Experience in the chemicals/plastics industry is a plus
Work Environment
•Long sleeves, pants, additional mandatory PPE when working with resin and solvents
•Handling of carbon fiber may cause moderate to severe itchiness
•Some occasional tasks may require the use of a respirator – in these instances, no facial hair will be allowed
Additional Information
•Compensation – starting rate for this role is $25 to $31 per hour based on experience and education. Opportunity for performance-based increases
