The Industrial Machine Mechanic will be responsible for keeping machines in working order by detecting and correcting errors before the machine or the product it produces is damaged.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
•Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
•Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
•Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
•Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
•Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
•Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
•Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other standards
•Knowledge of power/hand tools
•Education and/or Experience
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training
•Available to work in Rosenberg TX
Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing plant. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cranes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: TEMP TO HIRE. This is a full-time, hourly position. Standard days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
