Industrial Instrument Mechanic

PTW Energy Services is hiring an Industrial Instrument Mechanic to join our team in Valleyview, AB. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

Job Details:

- Business Address: 3608 Highway St. Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

- Shift: Various shift schedules available

- Compensation: $45 per hour

- Working Hours: 40-60 hours per week

- Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis

- Position: Permanent, full time

- Language: English

Job Duties:

- Inspect operation of instruments and systems

- Read blueprints to determine work requirements

- Repair and adjust system components

- Complete test and maintenance reports

- Remove and replace defective parts

- Calibrate components and instruments

- Logical approach for troubleshooting

- Determine testing and maintenance procedures

- Install new measuring instruments

- Coach and instruct apprentices

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work

Requirements:

- Must possess construction and maintenance instrumentation experience.

- Must have a valid instrumentation certification

- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.

- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).

- Excellent communication skills.

- A demonstrated ability to work safely.

- Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)

- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.

- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
