What You'll Do

- Skillfully operate diverse machinery, including forklifts, manual shift trucks, and crane trucks

- Comfortably tackle various environments, from confined spaces to challenging weather conditions

- Follow the Safe Work Instruction Program to uphold job site safety

- Decipher prints, schematics, and drawings to troubleshoot equipment effectively

- Capably handle tasks independently

- Master welding techniques for assorted steel angles and thicknesses using oxygen/acetylene torches

- Pursue opportunities to cross-train in equipment operation like loaders and cranes

- Execute minor repairs through work layout and fabrication

- Apply millwright skills for tasks such as motor alignments

- Use hand tools confidently

- Exhibit skill in rigging, cranes, and hoists

Desired Qualifications

- Certified welder with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field

- Possess effective verbal and written communication

- Basic proficiency in mathematics

- Ability to withstand lengthy periods of tool usage

- Prepared to work flexible shifts, including weekends

- Available for overtime work as needed

You have a strong foundation in:

- Repair of heavy machinery

- Mechanical troubleshooting prowess

- Industrial automation troubleshooting

- Safety inspections of machinery

- Manufacturing environment experience
