Industrial Engineer

About This Job

Oversee manufacturing process flow and optimize the production cycle.

Key Job Duties:

•

Synchronize production flow between departments

•

Determine root cause of issues and recommend changes to design or process

•

Organize the layout of the production flow

•

Develop and implement standards

•

Build processes to optimize production processes

•

Plan and assist with projects for the manufacturing team

•

Design workstations, fixtures, and tooling as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

•

Lean manufacturing experience

•

Excellent communication skills

•

Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawing and models

•

Excellent time management skills

•

Solid problem solving skills

•

Strong attention to detail

•

Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Desired Qualities and Attributes

•

MRP ERP experience and skills

•

Willingness to learn electro-mechanical switchgear

•

Be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime if the job schedule requires it

•

Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team environment

•

Ensure that the customer expectations are met and or exceeded on each job that is released

•

Computer modeling experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred)

•

Able to properly train team members

•

Analyze and respond to issues from production

Educational Requirements:

Four-year degree in industrial engineering
