Oversee manufacturing process flow and optimize the production cycle.
Key Job Duties:
•Synchronize production flow between departments
•Determine root cause of issues and recommend changes to design or process
•Organize the layout of the production flow
•Develop and implement standards
•Build processes to optimize production processes
•Plan and assist with projects for the manufacturing team
•Design workstations, fixtures, and tooling as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
•Lean manufacturing experience
•Excellent communication skills
•Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawing and models
•Excellent time management skills
•Solid problem solving skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Desired Qualities and Attributes
•MRP ERP experience and skills
•Willingness to learn electro-mechanical switchgear
•Be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime if the job schedule requires it
•Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team environment
•Ensure that the customer expectations are met and or exceeded on each job that is released
•Computer modeling experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred)
•Able to properly train team members
•Analyze and respond to issues from production
Educational Requirements:
Four-year degree in industrial engineering
