Job Description

WFI International, a leading manufacturer and supplier of integrally reinforced branch connection fittings to the power, oil and gas, chemical, and other industries, is looking for an Industrial Engineer. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support and leading cost reduction projects to improve manufacturing processes.

- Provide engineering support for shop floor in Houston, TX.

- Assist with quoting on made-to-order and engineered-to-order forged steel fittings.

- Work on specific cost reduction projects as assigned.

- Develop standardized work procedures for manufacturing processes.

- Provide support to determine the best manufacturing methods.

- Assist with the purchasing of and coordinating the installation of CAPEX equipment.

- Assist scheduling department with recommendations to improve throughput and reduce inventory.

Education/Experience

- B.S. Industrial Engineering

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems
