Industrial Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to work with both low and high voltage systems. The Industrial Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical components function safely and efficiently

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.

- Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety standards.

- Read and interpret electrical schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.

- Collaborate with on-site on contact to ensure timely project completion.

- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and machinery to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while performing tasks in various industrial environments.

Experience

- 5+ years Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.

- Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations is highly desirable.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, adapting to various conditions and challenges.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of electrical work.

- Overhead crane troubleshooting and repair is a plus

- VFD troubleshooting and repair

- Siemens and Allen-Bradley programming experience a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
