Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems and a strong understanding of industrial environments. This role involves working in a foundry and requires proficiency in both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.

•

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.

•

Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with equipment or wiring.

•

Collaborate with fellow coworkers to ensure timely project completion.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

•

Proficiency in working with low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications.

•

Experience using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.

•

Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.

•

Familiarity with industrial site protocols and safety practices.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.03 - $39.41 per hour
