Where will you work: (Office) Onsite at Tampa Marine Terminal located at 2520 Guy Verger Blvd | Tampa, FL 33605. (Field) Seven total Tampa Port terminal facilities are supported by this role. You will be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Join Mosaic as an EIA Lead and play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing our Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation systems across critical facilities. In this leadership position, you’ll oversee a team of skilled EIA Technicians and contracted support staff, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities. You’ll leverage asset health management tools such as MOC, PM, PDM, and RCFA to support our domestic distribution warehouses and PSM-covered port terminal facilities handling finished fertilizer and feed products, molten Sulphur, and Anhydrous Ammonia. This role is both hands-on and strategic. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning job resources, estimating costs, auditing systems, authorizing risk assessments, and maintaining automated systems programming. You’ll also drive technician development, uphold safety, and project standards, and contribute directly to capital projects and commissioning efforts.
- Manage and direct all Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) maintenance activities across designated facilities
- Lead a team of EIA Technicians and contracted support staff to ensure safe and effective operations
- Utilize asset health management tools such as MOC, PM, PDM, and RCFA to support facility reliability
- Support Mosaic’s domestic distribution warehouses and port terminal facilities with PSM-covered processes
- Provide detailed plans for resources, materials, and equipment needed to complete jobs safely and efficiently
- Develop cost estimates for maintenance and project activities
- Motivate and continuously develop technicians to enhance engagement and skillsets
- Maintain and correct programming for all automated systems
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance and performance
- Review and authorize risk assessments and work permits for maintenance and project work
- Ensure safety, organization, and adherence to project standards on contracted projects
- Participate directly in base sustaining and expansion capital projects
- Support commissioning activities for new and upgraded systems
- High School/GED
- 10+ years of electrical, instrumentation, and automation experience or related- Journeyman Electrician, Instrumentation, Automation training
- Microsoft 365 experience
- Working knowledge of SAP or other CMMS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or control systems engineering
- Experience in PSM covered process
- Occasionally outdoors and exposed to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
- Able to climb stairs and work at various heights.
- Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally.
