As part of the Communications, Community Relations and Indigenous Relations team of the Burnaby Refinery, this role provides strategic communications services and conducts stakeholder engagement activities to help the Refinery in its ongoing dialogue with employees, local community, stakeholders, and local Indigenous Nations. This includes developing content for internal and external audiences and supporting special projects and events.
We are seeking a passionate communicator with strong writing, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the team by writing engaging stories, assisting with events and campaigns, and supporting social media content. Lived experience or a strong understanding of Indigenous culture, history, and governance will be invaluable in this role, as you will support internal cultural awareness initiatives and external engagement strategies.
