Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operators to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks and performing excavation tasks safely and efficiently at various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
•
Operate hydrovac trucks to perform excavation tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
•
Conduct loader operation and backhoe operation as needed for site preparation and material handling.
•
Assist with horizontal drilling projects, ensuring precision and accuracy in all operations.
•
Maintain equipment, including regular inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
•
Follow all safety regulations and guidelines while working on any and all sites.
•
Document daily activities, including equipment usage and site conditions.
Qualifications
•
Valid Class A- Commercial Driver's License with Tankers Endorsement and able to drive a 10-speed.
•
2year proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with hydrovac trucks, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
•
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols.
•
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
