Hydrovac CDL Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a hydrovac truck to safely excavate and expose underground utilities while adhering to all safety protocols. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations on construction sites, requiring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety. You will also be required to flushvac sewers per job requirements.

Responsibilities

- Operate hydrovac trucks for safe excavation of soil and debris around underground utilities.

- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure effective site preparation and utility exposure.

- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular inspections and basic maintenance.

- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating hydrovac trucks or similar heavy equipment is a requirement.

- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices is desired.

- Skills in loader operation, bulldozing, digging, horizontal drilling, dump truck operation, backhoe operation, and Caterpillar machinery are strongly desired.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

- Ability to pass any required background checks or certifications related to heavy equipment operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 65 per week
