Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview
Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Class A truck drivers have the responsibility to safely and effectively transport the truck to and from job site locations.
•A flexible schedule throughout the week could be expected given the nature of the industry.
•Ability to work flexible hours some weekends and nights
•Complete pre-trip and post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines
•Follow dispatch instructions
•Comply with all regulatory agencies, company safety policies and all other applicable laws
•To maintain a valid Class A CDL and a clean MVR
•Maintain accurate logs, records, and daily company paperwork
•Routine maintenance of vac body (grease, clean filters)
•Ensure all work performed is done safely and efficiently
•Report all accidents involving drivers, company equipment, and/or private property
•Plan the best route to job sites keeping in mind height and weight restrictions
•Meet scheduled timelines given from direct supervisor
•Work with Site Supervisors and Truck Superintendent to understand what/where utilities need to be potholed
•For each utility found, hydro vac 3ft on each side and 1ft below to verify all lines have been exposed
•Mark all exposed utility lines with pole and depth to utility on the pole
•Maintain accurate documentation of daily events/findings (Photos and Logs)
•Clean inside and outside of truck daily. Keep tools clean and organized
•Verify with site supervisor that job is complete before leaving the job site
•During colder weather, make sure unit is winterized
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
•Class A CDL Preferred. Experience is preferred, but not required
•Prefer 3 years of verifiable truck driving in a safe and efficient manner
•Verifiable Employment History
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
•Ability to pass and maintain DOT safety sensitive FMCSA requirements about pre/post-employment drug screening and DOT physical
•Familiarity with pre-trip and post trip inspection documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines
•Applicants must have a valid driver's license, clean MVR
•Adequate means of transportation to work
•Familiar with all regulatory agency policies (DOT)

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 3 plus years of experience in construction (Preferred)
Computer Skills: Must be able to operate an android smart phone and ipad.
Requirements:Must possess a CDL. Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening.
