HardChrome Hydraulics Inc is seeking a local Hydraulic Shop Technician with experience working safely with various component repairs, hose counter and field service. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-driven, highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work independently and within a team under minimal supervision.
-Completion of repair documentation including but not limited to work order, inspection report, test/ service report, field level risk assessment, and hazard identification
-Communicate with supervisor on job expectations and estimated labor times
-Follow instructions for tasks assigned by shop supervisor
-Provide customer service through communication and flexibility with repair work
-Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures
-High school diploma or a GED (General Education Degree) or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
-Mechanical/ Hydraulic experience, first or second year Heavy Duty Mechanic/ HET preferred
-Strong knowledge of, or ability to learn, products and processes
-Knowledge of and ability to use basic hand and power tools
-Ability to learn and operate material handling equipment
-Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
·Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
