Hydraulic Hose Technician

This job posting is for a Hydraulic Hose Warehouse Technician.

Job Responsibilities:

- Measures, cuts, assembles, crimps, etc., industrial hydraulic hoses

- Effectively maintains communication with dispatcher and the customer to deliver an exceptional customer experience

- Builds and/or repairs hoses assemblies

- Ensures orders are produced in a timely manner and maintains on-time deliveries

- Tests and checks hose assemblies are accurate and timely per applicable procedures

- Adaptable and understanding of changes to schedules and timelines

- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards

- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance

- Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic hoses and applicable tooling

- Self-motivated, individual with a high energy level who can work alone or with others

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with tact and courtesy, and maintain a professional demeanor

- Demonstrated proficiency with current computer software and related hardware

- Knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue

- Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina

- Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment

- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to inspect work visually

Experience: 1-3 years hydraulic hose experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
