Position Title: HOSE & CABLE TECHNICIAN Location: Midland, TX

Responsible to: ASSET INTEGRITY SPECIALIST
Position Summary: The Hose & Cable Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, testing, and maintaining hoses and cabling used in operations. This role ensures all equipment meets quality, safety, and operational standards while keeping accurate inventory records and supporting the readiness of all hose and cable assets.
- Inspect hoses, cables, and related fittings for wear, damage, or defects.
- Perform repairs or replacements according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the life and performance of hoses and cables.
- Perform continuity tests, and other quality checks to verify safe operation.
- Document testing results and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Track hose and cable inventory levels using inventory software or tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and new inventory received.
- Organize storage areas for quick access and safe handling of equipment.
- Prepare hoses and cables for field use, ensuring proper labeling and readiness.
- Assist with identifying equipment needs and ordering supplies.
- Support other maintenance or operational tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair procedures
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Familiarity with testing equipment and electrical continuity testing
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
