Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and settings.
Responsibilities
•
Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ductwork according to specifications.
•
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
•
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to maintain system efficiency.
•
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
•
Collaborate with service technicians to address customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
•
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services performed.
•
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the HVAC/R industry.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
•
Familiarity with heating and cooling systems including air conditioning units and boilers.
•
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
•
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
•
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
This is a contracting job and payment is determined by requirements of each project
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.81 - $29.07 per hour
Schedule:
•
4 hour shift
•
On call
•
Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
