Local Coconut Creek Air Conditioning company in need of a hard-working, goal-oriented, driven person to join our team. This position is full time Monday-Friday with rotating weekend and evening call in schedule. Optional Tuesday-Saturday schedule available. The ideal applicant must be able to perform quality repairs within the time frame allotted while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

•

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

•

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

•

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

•

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

•

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

•

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

•

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

•

Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

•

Assisting with customers' queries.

HVAC Technician Requirements:

•

High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.

•

5+ years experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.

•

Valid driver’s license.

•

Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.

•

Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC system repairs

•

Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and refrigeration systems

•

Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems

•

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

•

Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.

•

Ability to work in confined spaces.
