We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented hurricane shutter installer / repairer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and experience with various installation techniques. As a Shutter Installer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing shutters to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our clients' spaces. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and assess window dimensions to ensure proper shutter fit.

- Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembling shutters.

- Install shutters according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

- Read and interpret schematics and installation instructions accurately.

- Perform trim carpentry tasks related to shutter installation, including frame carpentry.

- Execute fixture installation with attention to detail for a polished finish.

- Apply caulking where necessary to ensure a weather-tight seal.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in trim carpentry or related fields such as maintenance person services or general carpentry.

- Must be bilingual.

- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.

- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions for installations.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to fabricate solutions on-site.

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
