HRSG Field Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical

Summary:

TransGlobal Energy is seeking experienced HRSG Field Engineers (Mechanical ) to support installation, startup, and commissioning of Heat Recovery Steam Generators at client project sites across the USA. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on ensuring safe, compliant, and timely execution of all HRSG-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee HRSG erection and field installation, including piping, modules, and pressure parts.

- Interpret drawings, P&IDs, and support contractors during construction and commissioning.

- Conduct inspections, verify welding procedures, hydrotests, and chemical cleaning processes.

- Identify technical and quality issues; submit NCRs and coordinate resolution.

- Interface with clients and contractors to manage progress, resolve conflicts, and deliver results.

- Support loop checks, instrumentation testing, and system turnover documentation.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in power plant construction or HRSG field work.

- Strong mechanical or electrical background with commissioning experience.

- Able to lead on-site activities and interface across disciplines.

- Willing to travel and remain on-site for extended assignments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per hour
