Job Description
This role, based at our corporate office in Houston, Tx, will support the HR department with the administration of policies and procedures. You will serve as a frontline for employees, assisting with HR-related questions and providing administrative support for day-to-day HR processes. This includes entering and maintaining employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Process new hires and terminations:
- Prepare offers/promotions/transfers/final pay memos and exit interviews.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation.
- Enter new hires and various information into Oracle
- Set up folders (both electronically and hard copies)
- Schedule pre-employment drug screens, I-9's and background searches.
- Maintain confidential employee files; Removing terminated folders from SharePoint to the S: Drive; Removing hardcopy files from active to terminated in the HR Room. Send archived files to offsite location.
- Process and code invoices/Credit Card reconciliation monthly for department.
- Assisting employees with drug free letters and VOE’s.
- Inventory control of PPE and office supplies for HR Department
- Scheduling merchant marine physicals, physical abilities assessments and vaccinations for offshore workforce. Monitor medication tracking log.
- Runs scheduled HR reports
- Conduct periodic audits for HR files, I-9’s and Oracle data.
- Provide support to senior level management within the HR department. Includes Oracle testing and annual compensation administrative support.

Qualifications
Education / Training:High School Diploma
Experience:
1-2 years Human Resources background.
Skills:
Microsoft Suite, Oracle HRIS,
Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
- Proficiency with related software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) / Intermediate Excel.
- Strong communication skills – oral and written
- Able to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Schedule: Able to work daytime hours Monday-Friday, with the option to work one day remote.
