Hot Tap Technician (Field Supervisor)

EnReach Hot Tap Services Inc is company that specializes in hot tapping, line stopping, and related services to the Western Canadian Oil and Gas industry.

We are looking for someone to be a key part of our team as a Hot Tap Technician/Field Supervisor to help us execute our field projects. The successful candidate will be someone who is proactive, detailed, works safely, and is only satisfied with a job being done right!

We need someone who:

- Is familiar with oil field pipeline construction and maintenance activities.

- Is familiar with welding and managing welders.

- Is able to manage the quality documentation during our projects and is tech savvy.

- Has incredible attention to detail, takes pride in their work and will make sure all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed.

- Is capable of working overtime regularly.

- Has a positive attitude.

- Has effective verbal communication and customer service skills.

- Is always punctual.

- Works safe every time all the time.

- Can work away from home and has no issues staying in hotels/camps for the duration of the job.

- Can work as part of a team.

What you’ll do:

- Lead the field crew in the execution of hot tapping, line stopping, and other services we offer.

- Manage a typical crew of an assistant, welder, and NDE technician.

- Get the team ready for jobs which can include pre job meetings.

- Act as the Quality Supervisor and complete paperwork associate for projects.

- Maintain and organize EnReach shop, trucks, and field sites.

- Execute and maintain EnReach Quality Management System.

- Execute and maintain EnReach’s Health, Safety, and Environment System.

- General maintenance on trucks and equipment.

Experience we are looking for:

- 5 years work experience (Oil and Gas, Welding Shop, Machining, or Mechanic related preferred)

- Experience demonstrating leading crews in the field with emphasis on the quality systems and documentation.

- Valid Drives License and Clean abstract

- High School diploma

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

- Someone who can manage the cyclic nature of the oil and gas industry

- Safety Tickets are an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
