Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee our initiatives aimed at enhancing community well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in crisis management, social work, and workforce development. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage programs that support individuals facing various challenges, including homelessness, addiction and behavioral health issues.

Responsibilities

•

Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that address community needs related to behavioral health and workforce development.

•

Coordinate with various stakeholders, including local agencies, service providers, and community organizations to promote program objectives.

•

Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage participants and facilitate their progress toward personal goals.

•

Provide crisis management support to individuals in need, ensuring timely intervention and appropriate resources are available.

•

Oversee case management processes for participants, including those involved in Section 8 housing programs.

•

Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders to demonstrate effectiveness and areas for improvement.

•

Facilitate training sessions for staff on addiction counseling techniques and best practices in social work.

•

Advocate for participants' needs within the community and assist them in accessing necessary services.

Requirements

•

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.

•

Proven experience in program management or a similar role within the social services sector.

•

Strong understanding of crisis management principles and practices.

•

Familiarity with workforce development strategies and Section 8 housing programs is highly desirable.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

•

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and maintain a nonjudgmental approach.

•

Knowledge of counseling techniques and behavioral health issues is essential.

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
