Heavy Equipment Operator

Jimmy Richards & Sons Excavating, Inc. is looking for dedicated, self-motivated, and experienced equipment operators to join our dirt crew and/or utility crew.

Must have 1-5 years of experience with excavation/grading/utilities. Projects are located within the Tri-County area (Calvert, Charles, & St. Mary's Counties) and parts of PG County and vary from Commercial Buildings to Residential Developments. Typical work weeks are Monday thru Friday from 7:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M, some extended hours and weekend work may be necessary depending on the workload and needs of the project.

Required skills:

- 1-5 Years of operating experience

- 1-5 Years utility experience, is a plus.

- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites within the Tri-County area (Calvert, Charles, & St. Mary's Counties) and parts of PG County

- Knowledge of Safety Regulations and the ability to adhere to them, as well as company policies & procedures

- Required to work outside in extreme weather conditions – both hot and cold
