Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and experience with commercial driving, as well as familiarity with a range of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, rock trucks, etc.

- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition.

- Transport materials using rock trucks

- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to execute project plans effectively.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on construction sites.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
