Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience for a permanent role in Peace River, AB starting April 14th. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday - Thursday schedule,10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

•

Experience working on as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

•

Valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certificate/ticket.

•

Ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair overhaul heavy vehicles and industrial equipment, interpret work orders and manuals, test equipment for proper performance, and complete service reports.

•

Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

+ CSTS-2020 + Fall Protection + WHMIS

•

Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.

•

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

•

Valid driver's license and clean 5-year Driver's Abstract with under 6 demerits.

•

Must have own reliable transportation to site.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
