•Position Title: Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
•Certification Required: OFF ROAD Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
•Overtime: After 8 hours per day
•Hours per day: Minimum 12 hours
•Benefits: After 3 month (50/50 share)

•On site emergency repair and big projects on off road heavy equipment

Top Gun HD LTD is seeking experienced Journeyman OFF ROAD heavy duty mechanics/technicians to join our growing team on a full time permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities
•Perform mechanical repairs on large heavy equipment on site and service calls
•Construct, install, and repair equipment for all customers of TOP GUN HD LTD.
•Performs daily safety and maintenance inspections.
•Repair, overhaul, maintain, and services diesel-powered vehicles, heavy trucks.
•Repair, overhaul, maintain and service fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, lubrication systems, engine control systems, major internal engine repairs or overhaul, installation and alignment of engines and machinery.
•Repair, overhaul, maintain and service drive trains and final drives, hydraulic transmissions, power take-offs, suspensions and steering, vehicle brake systems.
•Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
•Repair and adjust hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and any other necessary mechanical components.
•Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required.
•Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
•Repair cooling, and lubrication systems.
•Accurate completion of work orders and time sheets.
•Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
•Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to help facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
•Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
•Any other mechanical repair work as required

Qualifications
- Must have valid off road heavy duty technician license
- Extensive experience with a variety of large heavy duty equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintenance tasks
- Electrical experience and familiarity with schematics
- Class 5 Licence
First Aid Certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
