Heavy-Duty Journeyman Mechanic

Archon Energy Services Ltd. specializes in heavy duty service rig repairs and maintenance. We service some of the biggest clients in the well servicing industry. We are professional, challenging, fast paced and our goal is to provide top tier heavy duty mechanical support. As an isuzu service dealer we also work in power generation.

We require a Heavy-duty Journeyman Mechanic who functions well as a team-player; problem solves independently, maintains a positive work ethic and meets deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

· Upgrading and assembling components to service rig and support equipment

· Mounting panels, fuel tanks, and engines

· Working directly with the owner and and service manager

· Servicing, repair, assembling, troubleshooting and performing diagnostics for engines and electrical systems

· Completing overhauls and routine equipment repair on service rig and support equipment

· Keeping detailed and accurate time sheets, maintenance, and safety reports

· Mentoring apprentices to develop their trade skills

· Performing Maintenance on equipment at various off site locations

· After hours and weekend shift rotation

· Producing quality workmanship

Requirements include:

· Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman or Apprentice

· Problem solving ability

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Awareness to detail and accuracy

· Drug and Alcohol Testing

· Additional Safety Tickets would be considered an asset
