Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for an experienced Camp Cook to work at remote work camps. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge, experience and skill set required to complete assigned tasks in a safe, productive and professional manner.
In this role, the Head Cook will be working a rotational schedule at one of our Company camps. The Head Cook will be the sole cook at camp, and will be responsible for providing crews with meals and overseeing all kitchen operations. CCI is looking for someone with at least a moderate level of remote camp cook experience who can handle all aspects in the kitchen.
- Camp cooking on a two week on, two week off schedule
- Train staff in preparation and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Order supplies and equipment
- Manage kitchen operations
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine portions size, estimate food requirements and costs
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Resume. Including relevant experience and personal / professional references.
- Copy of Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License.
- Food Safe Level I or II
- Red Seal Certified or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- OFA Level 3 preferred
- Wage incentive for OFA Level 3 Certification
