Your Day to Day:
•Support engineering for the creation and updates of drawings for Eagle Instrumentation and Control (I&C) equipment. (Eagle is a microprocessor-based hardware system the interacts with instrumentation readings and provides controls for a nuclear power plant.)
•Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement, testing and manufacturing of Hardware I&C products.
•Work closely with software engineers in the lab to integrate and test new software with new or updated hardware.
•Work on resolving obsolescence issues using new technology parts and processes.
•Work closely with manufacturing to resolve issues, provide oversight, and ensure products are in accordance with build-to-print drawing packages and specifications.
•Work with customers to resolve part obsolescence issues to help maintain plant reliability and operation.
•Support suppliers with technical issue resolution.
•Support troubleshooting efforts of the Hardware I&C equipment.
•Perform testing and characterization of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies using specialized test equipment.
•Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
•Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

Who You Are:
•A Bachelor’s Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline is required, along with a minimum of 0-2 years of engineering experience.
•Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design desired.
•Experience in CAD/3D modeling software is a plus.
•Strong organizational, planning skills, and attention to detail.
•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team including engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, and suppliers.
