Groundman/Lineman

Job Summary

We are seeking Lineman and Groundman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support our operations, including the safe and efficient operation of bucket trucks, ground work and traffic control. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Clean drivers license is required. This is a traveling position 4-5 days a week across all of NY, parts of MA and PA.

Responsibilities .

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, demonstrating mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues.

- Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.

- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.

- Traffic control

- Ground work on aerial line crew during placement of Fiber Optic cable and strand.

- Safely drive bucket trucks and pick up trucks with trailer (under CDL).

Experience

- Previous experience with road construction or aerial telecom work is preferred.

- A strong understanding of safety protocols, particularly OSHA regulations, is essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
