Valero is looking for an energetic, creative, collaborative and results-oriented Graphic Designer to join our fast-paced and innovative team.

As a Graphic Designer, you will support, represent and market Valero’s company messaging, events, and other endorsed projects for internal and external audiences through various creative design channels.

Daily Graphic Designer duties may include:

Supports the creation process in printed and digital mediums. Work could include, designing under specific direction, social media content, print and digital forms, brochures, logos, advertisements, marketing collateral, booth signage, programs, flyers, infographics, company campaigns, business cards, package designs, presentations templates and company publications, with a high degree of quality, creativity and strategic messaging in a time-sensitive manner.

Maintains the graphic standards of the company logo and branding materials.

•

Reviews printed materials associated with the company name and logo to ensure quality standards.

•

Collaborates on graphic design projects - delivering finished products per specifications on time and within budget.

•

Coordinates on jobs produced internally or sent to outside vendors to maintain cost-effective and quality company graphics and material.

•

Works with employees at all levels and all locations to produce content in support of company-supported goals and messaging.

•

Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously with their customers

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s or higher-level degree - Graphic Design, Digital Communications, Communications, Journalism, Business/Marketing or related field required.

•

3 years of related graphic design or content creation experience required.

•

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat preferred.

•

Experience working in a corporate environment preferred.

•

Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required.
