Goldstrike - Open Pit Driller

Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Goldstrike Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Open Pit Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following:

- Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individuals

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous Surface Drilling/Blasting experience preferred

- Valid Nevada drivers’ license required

- Heavy equipment operating experience preferred

- Ability to carry at least 50 pounds required

- Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required

- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team required

- Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records required

- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
