Geothermal Technician

Alternative Power Solutions of NY is seeking an experienced, motivated, GeoThermal Technician. We are a long-standing Renewable Energy Systems installer located in the Syracuse Area, installing and servicing systems across NY State.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and correct malfunctions of geothermal plant equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, or controls.

- Install, maintain, or repair ground or water source-coupled heat pumps to heat and cool residential or commercial building air or water.

- install geothermal heat systems according to property characteristics, heating and cooling requirements, piping and equipment requirements, applicable regulations, or other factors.

- Perform pre- and post-installation pressure, flow, and related tests of vertical and horizontal geothermal loop piping.

Must-Haves:

- Willingness to work within a team environment and be persistent towards company goals for community change

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Be professional in appearance and attitude

- Willing and able to attend appointments in the evening and/or on weekends when needed

Compensation to be determined based upon level of experience, types of Certifications, among other factors.
