Position Responsibilities:
As a Geotech, you will provide essential support to the geology staff for an active ISR uranium mining operation. This position is based in the Casper office with occasional travel to the mine site as needed. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain industry experience and develop technical skills in geology, GIS, and data management. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support development/geology staff with daily activities, data organization, and project tasks.
- Perform data entry, data management, and QA/QC of geologic and operational datasets.
- Assist with drill log evaluation, lithologic descriptions, and well documentation.
- Use GIS software to compile, analyze, and display geologic and operational information.
- Participate in occasional field activities, including logging drill cuttings, sample collection, and other tasks as assigned.
- Maintain clear and accurate records to support operational, regulatory, and technical reporting.
- Uphold safety standards and environmental compliance in all aspects of work.
- This is an hourly position based in Casper, WY, with occasional travel to the field.

- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Successful candidates will be required to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing prior to employment.
- Minimum of a 2-year degree in Geology, GIS, or a related field; current students actively pursuing a degree will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate data entry and QA/QC.
- Familiarity with GIS software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
