- Academic Background – A bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Relevant Experience – Direct geosteering experience in South Texas and the Permian Basin is essential.
- Work Commitment – A clear understanding and willingness to engage in a full 12-hour work schedule, maintaining consistency and focus throughout.
- Self-Reliance and Problem-Solving – A strong work ethic, the ability to perform complex tasks independently, and a demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking and resourcefulness.
- Growth Mindset – Passion for continuous learning and ongoing professional development.
- A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline
- Geosteering experience in the Uinta Basin
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for geologic or operational workflows
- Background in data science, analytics, or advanced data visualization techniques
