About the Role:

Stratagraph Geosteering is actively seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Geosteerer

to join our dedicated team supporting a key client. This is a project-focused role requiring experience in South Texas and the Permian Basin, with immediate placement into an active steering rotation.

What We’re Looking For:

You’re a driven geoscience or engineering professional with proven experience and a sharp eye for subsurface interpretation. You thrive under pressure, work independently, and are committed to technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or related field

- Direct geosteering experience in 

South Texas

 and the 

Permian Basin

- Proficiency in StarSteer

 is mandatory

- Comfortable with a 

12-hour work schedule

 (rotating day/night)

- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and perform independently

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant geoscience discipline

- Geosteering experience in the 

Uinta Basin

- Familiarity with Python

 for geologic or operational scripting

- Experience with data analytics or advanced visualization tools
