Responsibilities:

•

Conduct field surveys using geophysical equipment under the guidance of senior technicians, contributing to the exploration of diverse environments.

•

Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of geophysical instruments and tools, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

•

Perform routine checks and troubleshooting of equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.

•

Collaborate with team members to collect accurate data in challenging outdoor settings, contributing to the success of each project.

•

Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures during all fieldwork activities, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your team.

•

Learn to complete quality assurance and quality control reports on the data you collect, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:

•

Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license in the Province of Quebec.

•

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

•

Proficient in English communication.

•

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to work hands-on in outdoor environments.

•

Experience with off-road vehicles is advantageous but not essential.

•

Basic computer skills required for data entry and equipment operation.

•

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work effectively in challenging terrain and weather conditions.

•

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

•

Previous experience with geophysical equipment or fieldwork is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 77 per week
