Rack Electric is currently hiring Certified Generator Technicians for our awesome and growing generator service division.

This is an amazing opportunity!

•

Monday – Friday 7:00am -3:30pm with Overtime available.

•

On Call schedule every 6 weeks

MUST BE CERTIFIED GENERATOR TECHNICIAN!

Job Duties to include but not limited to:

•

Perform residential and commercial Bi- annual maintenance service on a daily schedule.

•

Install and service monitoring equipment.

•

Troubleshoot operational issues on Generators and related equipment.

•

Perform routine maintenance on generators

•

We are a paperless company. we operate out of a CRM software

•

Be on call for emergency calls 1 week at a time

•

Hourly Pay is based on experience

Must have/meet the following qualifications:

•

Certified Generator Technician a Must.

•

Driven and self-motivated

•

Must have some technical aptitude

•

Electrical background a PLUS

•

Basic electrical and plumbing tools with testing equipment

•

Clean Driver’s License

•

Drug Free (We are a Drug Free company)

•

Generator knowledge is a HUGE Must

•

Job is physically demanding and candidate must be able to lift up to 70lbs on rare occasions, bend, stoop, squat and kneel for extended periods of time.

•

Must be able to work in extreme conditions to incl, heat, wind and rain.

•

Candidate should be methodical in their work assignments and follow all company procedures.

•

Must be willing to be Cross trained in all company divisions.

PLUS if you reside in theses zip codes as we are looking for multiple team members to support different cities, you will work remote and must be able to keep company van on property. 33024, 33026, 33228, and 33330.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
