With our San Antonio operation thriving, we’re now expanding into Houston and seeking a driven leader to build and lead our generator service division from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
As the Generator Service Manager, you won’t just manage — you’ll lead from the front. You’ll be hands-on in the field, performing service work and building a high-performing team alongside you. Responsibilities include:
•Launch & Lead the Houston Service Division
•Start and grow the generator service division with support from the San Antonio branch
•Hire, train, and manage a team of generator service technicians
•Create and implement SOPs to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
•Perform service work yourself until the team grows
•Technical Service & Maintenance
•Complete residential and commercial generator maintenance and repairs
•Conduct installations support and system diagnostics
•Perform warranty service and field reports using manufacturer portals
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes
•Sales Support & Customer Experience
•Work alongside sales to quote preventive maintenance (PM) contracts
•Assist with customer inquiries, proposals, and post-install support
•Promote and uphold the company’s reputation through excellent service
•Use House Call Pro (HCP) for dispatching, job tracking, and communication
•Manage manufacturer warranty portals (Generac, Kohler, Cummins)
•Support inventory tracking and equipment needs
What You Bring
•Proven field experience in generator service (residential and commercial)
•Hands-on ability to complete generator maintenance and repairs
•Certifications (or strong familiarity) with Generac, Kohler, and Cummins systems
•Load banking experience is a plus
•Leadership mindset with experience training others and building systems
•Strong understanding of safety, code compliance, and customer relations
•Comfortable using digital systems like HCP and manufacturer platforms

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
