Day Shift: Mon to Fri, 7 AM - 5:30 PM and 7AM - 2:30 PM on the weekends

Location: 526 S. Jefferson Street, New Castle, PA 16101

Hourly rate: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Here’s where you come in!

We're looking for General Labor / Material Control Specialist at our Non-Ferrous processing facility. In this position you will ensure all material received and shipped during shift meets company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Weigh, inspect, test and grade incoming material

- Release material for processing

- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring quality standards have been met

- Direct our Forklift Operators to ensure customer trucks are loaded and offloaded efficiently and safely

- Use critical thinking to determine which customer orders can be fulfilled on daily basis

- Use ERP system to track and process all open orders

- Complete all associated documentation

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or GED is preferred

- Must possess a valid U.S. passport

- Willingness to complete training at our Canadian facility for a designated period

- Prior experience in an industrial, shop or construction environment preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

- Eagerness and ability to learn and grow in the role

- Must pass post-offer screenings (drug, background, physical)
