General Helper

Regal Tanks Ltd./Tidy Steel-Fab Ltd. is looking for a full-time employee to join our team as a General Helper. Regal Tanks Ltd. was incorporated in 1973 and originally created back in 1943 by our founder Tom Tidy. Since then, we have manufactured innumerable tanks for the liquid storage of Diesel, Gasoline, Jet Fuel & other various chemicals for customers worldwide!

Primary Job Description:

- Cleaning shop floor (including removing blast media from floor).

- Removing trash & scrap steel bins from shop.

- Mixing & pumping concrete fireguard insulation material into tanks.

- Organizing & storing incoming products.

- Help with loading and offloading equipment/orders.

- Final assembly of freshly painted tanks (installing decals, vents, accessories, etc.)

- Physically demanding production work.

Additional Duties/Tasks:

- Working with/helping current crew in completing their tasks.

- Aiding the completions of miscellaneous jobs as required.

- Cutting material on Steel Cold Saw.

- Aiding in production testing new tanks.

Assets:

- Forklift experience (highly valued asset)

- Machine operating experience

- Blueprint/drawing reading

- Welding experience

- Angle grinder experience

- Blueprint reading

- Tape measure reading

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
