Company/Position Overview:
Tex-Mex is located in Hobbs, NM and provides variety of oilfield services for the purpose of workover or completion operations. Tex-Mex offers a wide range of support services including, hot oilers, dump truck haulers, sandblast, and coating, frac tank haulers, vac truck haulers, kill trucks, and trash trailers. Tex-Mex is managed by seasoned industry veterans and services blue-chip customers in the Permian Basin and New Mexico with a substantial asset base, strong safety culture and industry-leading operating procedures. Tex-Mex has partnered with American Well Services to provide a full suite of completions and workover solutions to customers throughout the Permian Basin and New Mexico.
The Gauger/Hauler will perform manual tasks, transportation and assist with the repair of oilfield equipment.
CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE WITHIN 60 MILES OF AMISTAD NEW MEXICO
Responsibilities:
•The Gauger/Hauler will drive and operate the truck in picking up, hauling, and unloading various oilfield related fluids - fresh water, brine/salt water, crude oil, frac fluids and other associated well servicing fluids. These fluids are pulled from customers’ various oilfield locations and is collected in tanks and/or other containers.
•Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
•Filling out Daily Inspection before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas, and water levels as well as the lights, tires etc.
•Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to supervisor and management.
•Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
•Maintaining accurate driver logs.
•Drive to drip locations and blow down pipeline produced water into holding tanks
•Maintain documentation of water blow downs.
•Maintain documentation for all water quantities in bbls hauled detailing location loaded and location unloaded.
•Complying with all DOT safety rules and regulations.
•Dismantles oilfield machinery.
•Ensures that work areas are clean and safe.
•Follows safety guidelines and regulations.
•Attend monthly/weekly company safety meetings.
•Follow on-call schedule.
•Performs other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills/Abilities:
•Excellent mechanical skills.
•Ability to complete basic computer tasks such as emails, pos, and reports.
•Be able to perform simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
•Ability to read, write and speak English so that all instructions are understood.
•Thorough knowledge of oilfield machinery and repair.
•Ability to understand and write proper JSA’s for every job/location.
•Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior workers.
•Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Valid Class A driver license along with tanker endorsements and an acceptable driving record.
•Must be over 21 years or older with ability to cross state lines.
•3 year of previous related experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
•Continuation of acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
•Continuation of participation in random drug testing policy.
•Must reside within a 60 mile radius of Amistad, NM
•Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends, as needed.
•Ability to travel, as needed.
•Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements, including, but not limited to pre-employment drug screen and MVR review.
•Receipt of proof of eligibility to work in the Untied States, as required by law.
Physical Requirements:
•Physically able to perform heavy manual labor.
•Prolonged periods of walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, pull or push, reach, and climb.
•Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
•Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
