Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Duvernay facility is recruiting for a Gas Plant Operator to join the team. This position reports to the Day Foreman, Operations in the Gas Services Business Unit (GBU), part of Pembina’s Facilities Division.
The Gas Services Business Unit provides gas gathering, compression, shallow cut processing and both sweet and sour deep cut processing services for its customers, primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts.
The Duvernay Complex is made up of the Duvernay Gas Plant and the Duvernay Sour Processing Plant. It is located approximately 9 km west of Fox Creek. The Duvernay Gas Plant is a sweet gas processing plant, there are 3 main processing areas; D1, DR2 and DR3. The plant receives dehydrated gas from various field hubs where it is separated and conditioned for sale. The Duvernay Sour Processing Plant includes inlet handling area (DH1), stabilization area (DS1, DS2, and DS3), amine sweetening area (DT1, DT2 and DA1), and gas lift area (DK1). The plant is a sour gas processing plant that sweetens natural gas from third party pipelines before the gas is sent to the Duvernay Gas Plant.
The rotation/shifts for this position: (7 on, 7 off; 7 days, 7 nights; 12-hour shifts). As a Gas Plant Operator, you will be responsible for daily operations of the plant and field sites.

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
Successful applicant will be required to live within 100 km of Fox Creek, AB.
