Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle cash transactions, assist customers with their needs, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Duties
•
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with fuel purchases and convenience store items.
•
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
•
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fuel pumps, convenience store shelves, and restrooms.
•
Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring that products are displayed properly.
•
Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales of specific items when necessary.
•
Provide information to customers about products, services, and promotions available at the station.
•
Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.
•
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
•
Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for transaction accuracy.
•
Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment.
•
Proficient in English; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it may enhance customer interactions.
•
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
•
Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone is a plus.
•
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products offered at the gas station.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.96 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
