Job Summary: Operate and monitor equipment necessary for heat-treating process.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
•Operate and monitor equipment necessary for heat-treating process.
•Evaluate, assemble, and disassemble loads for processing.
•Use computer to log process steps.
•Instruct helpers as required.
•Perform in-process inspection.
•Maintains a clean work area.
•Assists Supervisor in training functions as directed.
•Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.
•Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.
•Participates in company sponsored training as required.
•Learn to perform Leak Tests on vacuum furnaces via INSTR-048
•Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Additional Responsibilities: Forklift driver. Cross trained for hardness testing.
Qualifications:
•Heat treat experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Working on the processing floor where there is dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals, and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
•Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
•Considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
Job: Full-time with benefits.
Hours: Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10pm (with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
